The Girl with All the Gifts - M.R. Carey
This book is so beautifully written.
I had no idea what the book was going to be about based on the small description. It could have been anything, and I took the leap of faith without trying to spoil it too much with the reviews.
I finished this book in two days, it was a page turner. I was hooked immediately, the story of Melanie is one I don't feel I can sum up for anyone, just read it.
The whole book is written in a way as if it is a beautiful secret being unfolded slowly.
